Hawaiian snapper and the shiitake mushroom and oyster puff pastry are two excellent examples of the chef's dazzling contemporary Island/French dishes, which center on seafood. A signature favorite is ahi tartare and Maui taro chips. You can request seating on the large verandah or in the air-conditioned dining room. You can park at no charge in the gravel lot beside the restaurant, but you do need to get a pass from the staff.
