Maui Marathon Information

Aid Stations will be at the start and finish lines.

Bus Transportation to starting line before race
We will have bus service on September 19th @ 3am at the Westin side entrance by Expo. Buses will leave to go to Queen Kaahumanu Shopping Center.

Bus Transportation after the race
We will have two buses leaving Whalers Village after the race @ 12pm and 2:30pm that will go back to Queen Kaahumanu Shopping Center.

Clothes Drop off & Pickup at Queen Kaahumanu Center for full marathon and Whalers Village for half marathon. Pick up for both is at Whalers Village (finish line). Clothing must be picked up by 1:00pm on race day. If they are still not picked up, they will be donated to charity.

Lost & Found will be at the Information booth at the Expo, start line & finish line for all races. After Sunday, all Lost and Found will be available at the marathon race office at The Westin Maui. After Monday all Lost and Found will be donated to charity.

Parking: We recommend in front of Macy's area for those driving to the marathon start. Start line activities at back parking lot of Macy's. The Wakea Street entrance will be closed off from 4:15am to 5:15 am. There are no parking costs.

Pay phones are located inside the mall by Waldenbooks, in back. Outside the mall, in front near Ruby's Diner. At the finish line by the bathrooms on lower level past Center Stage in Whalers Village.

Restrooms: Portables will be located all around the strat line staging area at Queen Kaahuman Center and along the course at all aid stations and in several parks along the course. At the finish line they will be downstairs near the food court & upstairs in the parking lot in front of the parking garage.

Results: Unofficial results are posted near the finish line, official results at the finishers party, marathon race office and on the web site.

Road Closures: Roadways right near the start will be closed. Wakea Ave., is closed from 5:00am to 5:45am from Kaahumanu Ave. through to Puunene. Puunene inbound is closed from 5:15am until about 6:00am and Front Street is closed from 5:30am-1:00pm The tunnel will be one lane with police directing traffic. All other roads will be open. For people who live on Front Street, there will be police directing local traffic off of Front Street detouring down side streets to Honoapiilani Hwy. For those traveling to Lahaina or anywhere impacted by the marathon course, please allow adequate time for your travels.
